Teams were evenly matched coming into this game with da Tuskas having a few players sitting on the sideline after a rough match against the Kings of the the Bone Age. Veteran Troll Vomitt Breff was retired after injuring his hip and eyes were on how the rookie Troll Spew Mauff would perform.
The Nasties were in a great run of form winning the Sliver Coin and starting their run in Gold Div with 2 impressive win. Coach Moraiwe was out to get revenge after Da Tuskas had given them their only loss last season.

"Halftime, Da Tuskas 1 - Khornish Nasties 1. Both teams with 12 players, Khornish Nasties to receive. Da Tuskas still with a card in hand.
The Nasties jumped the gun with a Suicide Blitz, followed a turn later by a Mighty Leap which got the ball loose. Grabbing the ball with a run of good rolls, they then scored in turn 4. Da Tuskas struggled to move forward on the restart, but after a the Nasties failed a dodge to sack the ball carrier, a Orc threw a turn 8 long pass to score the equaliser.
Nasties have been short players for most of the game, but they have succeeded 5 of 6 KO rolls.
Still 1-1, Nasties failed the GFI to get within scoring range. But now Da Tuskas will need another great passing play to win.
And we discovered a horrible sinkhole had opened up, causing three players to fail GFIs in a 2x2 square area. Ends 1-1, no permanent injuries to anybody. How dull!"

"Good game, close game, both teams pulling off elf style plays to score. Second half a real scrum in midfield trying to get the ball loose and away. Metern an Jowl was both dangerous and ineffective at various times in the half. Glad to come away with a point." |
