Coach Joe:
Huge Huge Game, came down to literally the last turn of the game, and needed dodges and handoffs to secure the result, as R'henna dodged clear scooped the ball and handed off to F'ler for the score..
Sara the Slicer led off the game by smacking the Nurgle Warrior Floyd for a Miss game and after a long half of constant maneuver and smackage the Northerner girls ran home the score. Was a scramble the whole half and only the girls success in breaking armour whilst somehow proving to be adamant coated for the first half pulled it off.
The girls must have had too much fun at half time rubbing off whatever the coating was as the armour breaks and casualties started to roll in second half. It was then that I noticed Sara making goo goo eyes at an opposing player, she had fallen for him hard time, and had to be carted from the field seemingly dead. Post game she arose and announced that she had taken on some of Cole Lerah's essence (eugh, this is a family game folks, not on the pitch, yuk) and had been offered a position in the Rotters line up.
In the same move that Cole Lerah had won Sara's heart he also scored, having 1 die blocked and then dodged and gfi'd his way to a score.
Despite the best efforts of both L'issa and X'ra to GFI Fail, twice, each, with rerolls, and so cough up the ball, the two runners managed between them to pick it up, clear it from the opposing zones and combine for the score.
Huge huge game. Lots of Fun, tough opponent. The Myki I worried would be the bloodbath it became, this one I worried would be a tough and unrelenting game needing all the tricks and it indeed was. Both coaches are very good at making the other guy roll as many dice as possible to do anything and ultimately it came down to who had the worst luck at the worst moment. Score line could have easily been a draw or 2-1 win for either coach.
Post Match Note: Rotters gain a free Rotter, due to the kill of Sara, they also have won the bounty on her head, hows that for luck huh? |
