Two riots and a blizzard marred the first half, with players prat-falling all over and a dearth of passing. The second half saw some damage inflicted on the Gastly Ones, including a death and the serious injury of the dangerous rat ogre.
Most focus in the second half was on Elven Thrower Galenaerion who threw four three-dice blitzes to try to smash Gutter Runner Nupraptor into the casualty box - an unsuccessful attempt to become a permanent fan favourite, having completed a pass, intercepted and scored.
Sneaky Nupraptor failed to even fall over and expended much effort sniggering at the desperate antics of the High Elf. This rough housing caused Coach Elan to forget to signal for a wizard cast, but did amuse the spectators, who awarded Galenaerion the MVP, just to rub his nose in it.
A good game and much harder than the score line makes it appear. |
