70k of inducements for the Rotters, Miscellaneous Mayhem card was taken (Heckler).
Rotters received and dealt out a couple of perms (regen'd). Pressure from Grave Mistake forced an early rush and the Rotters looked set to score. Having a Howler came in to knock the ball carrier down and recovered the gobboskin. At this point Heckler was played, and Howls forgot how to block or dodge giving Caleb Ora an easy blitz. Caleb knocked Howls down, broke armour and rolled up a cas! Luckily for AGM he was able to regenerate. Caleb was then able to recover, burn the clock and score in T7 to go up 1-0.
With only two turns to score AGM set up aggressively on one flank. The ball was (incredibly) caught by a Rookie zombie off a quick snap, who then backed down the field, threw a quick pass to Having a Howler who sped up into a sideline pocket for a T8 score.
The second half devolved into what was largely a big central scrimmage for the most part, with some clinical fouling and blocking from The Walken Dead proving the difference, knocking out the enforcer Percival, PlagueKnight & injuring Floyd. Of the 7 injuries for the night, only one failed to regenerate, as Ra's al Ghoul stepped up to the plate, laying into Floyd, Flinger of Filth with a head decapitating stomp. The scrimmage ended as Having a Howler recovered the ball and was able to hold out for a grindy 2-1 victory. |
