Description
Ostermark, or officially the League of Ostermark, is an Electoral Province at the far north-eastern corner of the Empire. The Cockerell's wear the Province colours of white and blue proudly. As a new team, the Cockerell are a symbol of a new dawn for Ostermark. After the destruction of Ostermark's previous capital Mordheim (and all of its ersthwile Blood Bowl teams) a new dawn is required for the newly formed League - and it is hoped the Cockerells can be a symbol of that. Or at least give the crowd some entertaining deaths.

Silver champions! Exceeding the wildest expectations of the Ostermark people, their Cockerells claimed the MBBL season 27 silver coin, in only the second season of participation by defeating their year-long rival, the Barrowia Brawlers.
Throughout the Ostermark there were celebrations and parades, with people beginning to feel that a new dawn is possible. If it’s good for the Ostermark, it must be good for the world. |

1 loss, 1 win & a forfeit It’s been dramatic for the Ostermark faithful as they watched their bright team take a 1-2 loss to the Vanilla Vampires after demolishing their team to only 5 players. Then another bashes with the Tomb-shack-a-lack which resulted in a chaotic 2-0 win and then the news that game 6 has been cancelled due to a forfeit. This leaves the Cockerells with a 4-1-1 record and a break before their final game, and first ever game, against their season 26 rivals - the Barrowia Brawlers. The Brawlers are coming off a 3-0 loss to the Serra Angels and play the in form Tor’s Chosen next, so hopefully the Oatermarkers rest period will see the team fit for the last game of their season. |

1-0 is still a win, says coach A hard fought game, which saw many fouls, a lot of movement and the Cockerell's turning over the Norse in the first half only to be unable to leave their own half to hold a 0-0. The second half saw a long kick, a pass, and some holding onto the ball till the last minute to make it a 1-0 win which saw both the Norse Yethee and Beer Boar relegated to the injury box. |

Angels & Cockerells earn a first draw In a close fought game, which saw the Cockerell ogre knocked out, but Romero claim two Noble angel scalps, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw with a lot of drama in the dying minutes of the second half where the game could have gone either way. Eventually it didn't, and the first draw in the Silver Division of MBBL XXVII was played out. |
