Inducements - Da Tuskas took UIgrot Bolgrot and a Wizard.
Things started well for GSO, getting a blitz result on the opening kick off, and having the ball drift very close to the line of scrimmage and were able to blitz down a Tuska Black Orc and catch the ball.
Tuskas responded but keeping distance from the GSO mini cage and trying to get some 1 die blocks on the line. Ulgrot fired up his chainsaw and managed to stun the giant Throg Ammafist.
GSO were able to run backwards with the ball and switch to a blitzer on the other side of the pitch. Tuskas over committed bodies on the line and left their backfield open. Ulgrot charged forward and cut into the barely recovering Throg, blood and bone splattering everywhere. When the smoke cleared Throg appeared dead, the apothecary was able to stitch him back together on the bench but it looks like it will take him a few weeks to recover. Ulgrot was ejected by the referee. GSO were able to blitz their ball carrier free and he took off into the open backfield, out of reach of the Tuska players. Unfortunately he went for it one to many times and fell over and dropped the ball just squares from the endzone.
The Tuska coach bellowed at Braza Ballbusta to get back after the ball. He put on a 'Burst of Speed' and lumbered back towards the downed blitzer and loose ball. He deftly scooped up the ball, stranded near his endzone with no support her put the ball on one of his oversized boots and punted it the length of the field.
Suddenly the race was on for GSO and Tuska players get back after the ball. GSO got their first but weren't able to secure the ball. Tuska black orcs started breaking armour and taking GSO players off the pitch. Morglap was able to blitz downfield and get the ball and score for Da Tuskas. GSO set up for a quick reply but a non responsive Troll prevented their plans coming to fruition.

(Notes: Ulgrot fouled and killed Throg Ammafist, an Apoth downgraded it to MNG
GSO #7 Brikk Chittowse had the Star Ascendent card and got a bonus MVP.) |
