Nine Elves, a new recruit and a passing journeyman took on a mass of Orcs under the control of Myki of Croydon.
The first half opened with the Orcs receiving the ball but the Elves rushed the line and turned over the ball. 1-0. Rinse and repeat 2-0. And repeat 3-0. With only a turn in the half MAIN GUUUY! was finally given a chance on the field and was flung towards the endzone by Beer Money Inc. A great landing and several dodges/GFIs later it was 3-1 and the Orcs regained some pride.
Myki took quite a dislike to Dassault and hit him at every chance. Near the end of the first they finally got him and a serious injury resulted. Dazed couldn't bear his favourite player being tainted by a negative stat line and ordered the Apoth to patch him up and send him out into the game again. At least the apoth did his job this time after killing off three of Renault's players in the last two games.
The second half played out much like the first. Gitane scored in turn two and then turned the Orcs over twice more. Dazed kept his catchers safe at the back until a fan threw a rock that ended Faure Le Page's glorious career...
6-1 was the end result. It was a long match with the Orcs having a blitz, and then two riots adding turns to the clock. Overall the teams played 18.5 turns for the game!
Again coach Dazed wonders how to complete a game with a full roster. It hasn't happened for a while!
NB: Myki's result includes +1 FF due to his missed FF increase from an earlier win this season. |
