The Steelers received and after turn one things were looking reasonably good. Montgomery got a casualty with the first block of the game, and Blice the Quiet was one step away from the end zone with ball in hand.
From then on it was all Shufflers. A blitz saw Blice drop the ball into the crowd, who promptly threw it a third of the way back up the pitch. Securing the ball, the khemri went about pummelling the skaven at every opportunity. The hits took their toll with the Steelers down to 6 rats by the start of turn 3. From there it was a relatively simple exercise for the khemri to walk in the TD on turn 8.
It wasn't just a great match for the khemri, it was horrible for the skaven. Dodges and GFIs failed aplenty, and the Shufflers were quick to take the opportunity to put the boot into downed rats. Just before scoring a second TD late in the second half, the Steelers were down to a single player on the pitch who had spent 2-3 turns simply rolling over after getting repeatedly fouled.
Skritter deserves tremendous accolades for taking the extreme bad luck so well. |
