Shufflers win the toss, elect to receive, and thanks to a Quick Snap proceed to knock down nearly half the Nurgle team in the first turn. Although James did well to delay the TD, eventually superior numbers won out and Mshai put the khemri in front on turn 8.
The knocked-out Rotters managed to return for the second half (except the Beast). Khemri defence was holding it's own until a Fireball burnt a small hole which Caleb Ola capitalised upon to level the scores on turn 5.
A short kick from the Nurgle gave the Khemri the opportunity to scoop up the ball and muscle their way down the field for the winning TD with a turn to spare.
Both sides' offence were particularly good - I only remember a single block being made against a ball carrier all game. |
