Description
The Hexoatl Missionaries are a religious team made up of ancient Saurus Temple Guards and local Skinks friars.
Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Old Ones, and nice uniforms!

Season 7 Ah season 7, it was going so well.
Another season and some more recycling without another double. At least I kept the good skinks alive, and did not suffer any lasting injuries on them.
Saurus-wise we saw some progress, but also the apparition of the first serious injury on the Chaplain of Doom (AV8) which hopefully will not impact too much his frenzy'd work.
A third place well deserved as I was defeated yet again by silly pointy ears and by a ferocious Chaos Pact team. We'll have to find a way to avoid such a disastrous result when we meet again :) |

Season 6 The season of great success.
The Lizardmen were on fire this season winning more games than ever and consolidating the team with some very good skills. The TV got a bit out of control and some trimming will have to occur in Season 7 but at the moment I am very pleased with the current results:
5 Saurus have block,
The Krox has block and Pro
2 skinks have block or wrestle
I have 2x MV9 skinks increasing my chance to land a one turner,
So it's pretty good whichever way I look at it.
I am still losing terribly the games where I can't pick up the ball (usually against fast and agile teams) so I will be looking forward to picking up a sure hands or AG4 skink at some point in the future. |

Lean and Mean 2 Saurus were cut at the end of Season 5, both for showing below average pain resistance and having lost a few protective scales.
Taking their SPPs with them, the team is now dropping in TV, focusing on paying salaries to the key players and hoping to re-skill up with block and break tackle rapidly.
The team has also hired a new Kroxigor (smaller model) who will hopefully finish his molt by the start of Season6 and take the pitch with his finished colours. |

Half a season The first season (S4) for the Hexoatl Missionaries was a challenge. Arriving late for the party the lizards lacked skill and relied initially on inducement and luck to survive.
The difficult first games, trying to hoard cash to fill the team and reach the right ratio of positional seem to take for ever. The level ups however were amazing. 8 out of the 10 MVP fell on the Saurus (and one on the Kroxigor) , and the skinks got mostly double and stat upgrades. Suffering several injuries the Lizardmen only carry one soft-shell Saurus from the previous season, and will hopefully see him retire or skill up enough to increase his survivability.
The team is now ready for Season 5.
Objectives: - complete the Kroxigor and Saurus progression,
- protect the skinks with doubles. |
