Description
The rumour mill is a buzz that Coach Elan was recently spotted in the NAF Archives, apparently "reading" about the arcane technique called "passing the ball". While all know that Elan is training Elves, this author considers it unbeleiveable that anyone believes a rumour that based on Elan being literate. For Shame!

White Company Retires During a brutal final game for Season 9, Coach Elan took a chance and threw in the flag rather than be promoted broken ... sadly, the Star Player thrower took the death of his mate and this calculated act badly and quit. This gutted the utility of the team and they retired from the active league. |

Elan's White Company At a press conference today, it was announced that the self-acknowledged basher, Coach Elan, has been hired by a newly kitted out High Elf team.
Coach Elan stated that Nuffle is having fun with him as he cannot remember signing the contract, or why he would have thought that this was a good idea.
It certainly does not look so good, based on the dismal on field performance in pre-season 9. A bloody draw and a thumping loss demonstrated that elves cannot bash and are barely capable of dodging or passing. Spectators did note that they are quite decorative when reposing on the turf, although several serious injuries and one death did cause some work for grounds keepers, washing away blood stains and body parts.
Coach Elan finished the press conference with the interesting observation that the season will be a win / win / win for him - he has always enjoyed ordering elves about; he loves the high pitched squeak that injured elves make; if he can figure out new tactics and actually win a game, he gets bonuses.
This appears an odd approach to what will be an intriguing season for the old coach with his new team. |
