Missionaries had a hard time for the first couple of turns even those they received the ball at the start of the match. An early badly hurt on Chaplain of Doom had the apothecary out to get him back in the match. By the fifth turn they had three saurus out in the dugout.
Raider coach gave the signal to the wizard to drop the heavens on to Chaplain of Harm then.............nothing but a drop of rain as he charged to the touchdown line.

The Raiders used the last two turn to score an equalizer with limited resistance from the Missionaries after a path was cleared.
Second half had the Raiders playing a stalling game to eat into the time of the half and try and find a weak point to secure the ball. Things were going well until the Raiders were stalled by the Missionaries and then they were able to break into the cage and free the ball from the gutter runner. A luck bounced let Chaplain of Harm to secure the ball and start the slow advance done the pitch. Soon Cutter and Glart Jnr were off the pitch, even with some spirited defence the Raiders couldn't hang on for the draw. Only positive was the death of one veteran saurus at the hands of a rookie linerat. |
