Son of a local freeholder and grand-nephew of Edmundsheim Eagles' owner, Radulf Klein, Tomas used to practise throwing by keeping his family's fields free of crows. Unfortunately, he has to throw footballs, not rocks, and therefore prefers to play an easier, short-range throwing game but has been slowly building his confidence and range.

Due to his performance in this match: Warpfire Flamers - Edmundsheim Eagles (MBBL Season 10, Round 3), where he tripped, fumbled a pass and failed a pickup, Tomas has been nicknamed 'SBF' (Stumblin', Bumblin', Fumblin') by The Spellcaster's Network™ commentator, Don Prunus.
