Jorg - the team's offensive receiver - was discovered by Eagles' scouts playing for a halfling team in The Moot (it cost Edmundsheim nine plates of sticky buns, four smoked hams, and two kegs of beer to buy out Jorg's contract). An orphaned baby raised by halflings, Jorg actually believes he is a halfling: "I'm just big for my race!"

Whilst Jorg has a halfling's love of food, he does not possess their metabolism, giving him a tell-tale pot belly. That hasn't affected his speed or stopped him trying to convince the team's ogre, Abelard Blydsinnig, to throw him downfield.

Due to his size and beliefs his teammates have named him, Jorg 'One and a Halfling' Gowansohn.

Is reknown for keeping his composure and making the crucial catch no matter the odds.
