With 340k in inducements, I chose a chef (duh), Puggy Baconbreath and a 100k card: drawing The Fan, giving me an additional body on the pitch.
Game started out well, chef stole all the RRs in both halves and by turn three, 3 Hobbs and a dwarf were off the pitch. Poods applied good pressure on the ball, preventing me from caging and I was unable to score.
Second half, 'flings started disappearing from the pitch: KOs, injuries, biased referees sending them off... Lack of numbers kept me from getting to the ball carrier and Poods stalled out till turn 16 (and showing his manliness by booting a prone halfling for 4 turns)
Peppa Wildbuck was killed in first half but the apo saved him (and the bounty) to a BH. Around turn 12 I laid a foul on a hobgoblin with Peppa but the ref sent him off, ensuring the star 'fling's safety.
Always a fun game against Poods. Too bad about your crappy skill rolls... |
